"Hello, my name is" Pete Moran

Aspiro and SAGE are pleased to introduce the original art of Pete Moran to the Green Bay community.

In July of 2023, while participating in Creatively Engaged Community with SAGE, local artist Pete Moran handed us two rolls of illustrations and requested that we "take good care of them" and "show them to people". In that moment, Pete became the inspiration behind hosting a series of solo exhibitions for artists with disabilities through the advocacy of his own talents.

Pete's art can be described as "architectural renderings in color." A fan of utilizing various rulers as his creative tool of choice, Pete uses marker to create clear lines and various unique structures. Together, the 18 original works framed and on display, we believe, will invoke a beautiful sense of community to anyone in the room. Guests can expect to also admire Pete's use of color, and, coming from a wonderfully artistic family, what we can only assume is innate talent.

In December of 2023, Pete was the recipient of a donation of 18 24x30" frames from US Cellular through SAGE. Special thanks to local business, The Framing Cottage, for taking great care and effort in to professionally matting his works for display.

Attendees have the opportunity to donate art supplies towards Pete's continued creative endeavors. Watch for a specific list of needs. Attendees can also participate in a hands-on activity working with rulers as Pete does. More details coming soon.

*Masks are available at the studio for attendees who would like to wear one.*
