Art Supplies are always a need for SAGE.
SAGE utilizes donated art supplies in three ways:
Donated tools and equipment is set up and maintained for artists and community members to utilize during our Open Studio events.
Consumable supplies (paint, canvases, paper, fabric, inks, etc) are also available during Open Studio. These are items that need replenishing, and individuals are able to take home whatever they make using these products. These supplies are also used during our outreach program, Creatively Engaged Community.
Sourcing specific supplies to artists with a need: Sometimes we have artists who use specific supplies in their medium of choice and come to us when they need a hand up to keep creating. We’re happy to be a place anyone can come and get art supplies from, removing the barrier of cost to create.
