Who is S.A.G.E.?

SAGE is an artist advocacy organization, focusing our efforts around building a culture and thriving ecosystem for the arts in Brown County, WI. We meet to communicate opportunities, develop programming led by artists to engage the community, and offer peer to peer mentorship as it pertains to creative entrepreneurship. There is no fee to be a member of SAGE; we value talents and the purpose that each person brings to our organization. Founded in 2017, SAGE is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit determined to be accessible to all, fostering a vibrant arts culture that represents the diversity of our Midwestern city.

Support Your Creative Community

SAGE oversees a studio in the heart of downtown Green Bay. Located at 225 N Washington St, we aren’t the easiest to find, but we planned it that way. Whether you’re stopping in for a meeting, Open Studio, our “One Night Only” exhibits, or any other special event, we want you to be visiting with clear intention.

Monetary donations are always greatly appreciated. First and foremost, they keep our doors open, and they also allow us to engage the community with artistic events, showcase artists and creatives throughout the community, and purchase specific supplies needed to keep our organization thriving.

SAGE also gladly accepts art supply donations. If you’re looking to get rid of those art supplies gathering dust on the shelves, send us an email, or visit us during Open Studio Nights, the third Tuesday of every month, from 530-8pm.

This is the FINAL YEAR for our signature Toy Maker’s Fundraiser!

More than 200 stuffed animals designed by local artists have been added to the world over the years because of our ONLY annual fundraiser. Join us for our 5th Annual Toy Maker’s Fundraiser, now on exhibit through 12/12 at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay, and BID ONLINE to make one of these amazing, one-of-a-kind works of art yours.

The Toy Maker's Fundraiser has been SAGE's signature event for 5 years now. As we sunset the event and move on to something new, we want to celebrate the efforts of the artists over the years and the support the organization has received through their work.

Reservations are now being accepted for The Toy Maker's Fundraiser Send-Off Celebration, an evening of fun and excitement as the final hours of the 5th Annual Toy Maker's Fundraiser count down. Dinner is hosted by the culinary team of the Bellin Building at two service times, 6p and 730p. At 7p, join us in the banquet room to get one last look at this year's toys up for auction, dine from a dessert buffet, and meet some of the artists who participated in this year's event.

Also beginning at 7p, SAGE will periodically unveil four key elements of what's ahead in 2025, from our calendar of events to a new, county-wide campaign around the arts. We're also going to unveil our non-profit partners for the year and announce our BRAND-NEW fundraiser event for December 2025.

As an added bonus, guests will have a chance to ENTER TO WIN one of the Misfit Toys from over the years, those sad little critters left behind by their winning bidders and yet to find a home.

Throughout the night, SAGE will announce the time remaining on the online auction. Guests are greatly encouraged to bid on their favorite toys and get in on the excitement! Guests in attendance at the close of the night with winning bids will not only get to take their toys home right away, but dinner for any winning bidder is FREE.

Tickets to this event are $50 each and include a three-course dinner and access to the special event. The Nightly Buzz will be open as a cash bar for cocktails and mocktails. This is an all-ages event but as a fundraiser, ticket prices remain the same for children.

How to get to our studio at 130 E. Walnut St ( inside the Bellin Building)…

The Bellin Building is located at the corner of E. Walnut St. and Washington St. in Downtown Green Bay. The entrance to the building faces Washington St…

…you will enter through the main doors and go straight to the elevator, located just past the Nightly Buzz…

…take the elevator to the 6th floor and once off, go straight and then turn left until you reach near the end of the hallway and we are #601 on the left.

Our Studio may be small, but it has been home

to mighty conversations.

In 2022,

SAGE applied for an received funding for our first public arts project, a mural in Pulaski, WI
